Nice to meet you, and absolutely love your name. You do mean ArchAngel from X-men, no? If so, he's totally my favorite. If not, well, he still is. I loved your idea for a super villan on Alexiuss's page, by the way.
Oh, and are you a fan of FMA, by any chance?

thank you for writing me! no, i do not mean the guy from x-men. actually, i got the name from a kinda sorta story i have been meddling with forever! and yes, i love FMA. lust rocks. bar none. though she is very different in the manga than in the anime. i like them both, though anime lust is has more depth... yeah, i am totally rambling., i do that. anyway, nice to meet you. oh, and about why i have not posted my own stuff, it is because i do not have very much confidence in my work. i mostly just dabble.
well, the story has been rather fluid over the years, but the general gist is as follows: in a dark future, the world was thrown into a third world war. during the war, experiments on humans were begun in order to create the ultimate weapons without the nasty side effects of nuclear radiation. so any way, these super soldiers were created, and generally they were nothing special, just pumped up people. however, there were some amung them that proved to be extremely powerful, and they were known as the angels. during an escape attempt by two of the subjects- who were best friends- they were seperated. both believed the other had died. one was recaptured, and became one of the most feared of these super beings. the other escaped and grew up as a free man. flash forward 30 years or so, and things are getting politically and socially volatile once again. the most powerful of the angels, known as the seven, have begun to act on behalf of some unknkown power, and the world is now on the brink of another great war. the two best friends from so long once again meet, but are now on different sides, and one does not remember the other. this is where things get really complicated, with secret agendas, betrayals, and skewed beliefs, the characters must somehow find their own place in the world, and thier own purpose.
it is really way more complicated than i can explain, but i hope you got a general idea. as for the atmosphere, think final fantasy meets real world gothic industrial.
